Trust & Compliance

Accessibility

Digital products should be usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they use.

Accessibility by design

Accessibility is considered during interface design and development, rather than being treated solely as a final validation step.

Development practices

  • • Semantic HTML and meaningful document structure.
  • • Keyboard-accessible interactions.
  • • Visible focus states.
  • • Appropriate labels and accessible forms.
  • • Consideration for screen readers and assistive technology.
  • • Appropriate colour contrast and readable typography.

WCAG

Projects can be developed with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) in mind, with the target level and applicable requirements agreed according to the needs of the project.

Feedback

If you encounter an accessibility issue you'd like to discuss, please get in touch so it can be reviewed.
